MY MOTHER IS SUFFRING KNEE GAP PROBLEM SINCE FABRUARY 2016 .SHE CANNOT WALK IT IS VERY PAINFUL .. AND I WANT TO KNOW THAT HOW WE OVERCOME FROM IN THIS PROBLEM

Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day.

You need to consult orthopaedic surgeon and get Xray done.your mother like to be suffering from osteoarthritis knee joint. treatment will depends on severity of osteoarthritis and pain .in early stages physiotherapy and exercises are helpful. In advanced cases may require surgery.

Hi, The treatment depends on the severity of the osteoarthritis and the severity of her debility. In mild to moderate situations, she can avoid climbing stairs, sitting on the floor, using the lower commode, and all these precautions will improve her pain. Strengthening the quyadriceps and hamstrings will give very good benefit, as also oral and local application of pain medicines. COnsult an orthopaedician before using medicines. You appear to be suffering from Plantar fascitis. This is a common problem that arises out of inadequate stretching and tight muscles. Stretch your calf and foot every day, use a soft footwear. Hallo sir, You have to get the x-ray done,  if there is too much of degeneration then she has to undergo knee replacement surgery and if not so then it can be managed via physio

If it's not so bad then we can go for knee strengthening exs,  MWM for her knee which is very much beneficial

1) no cross leg sitting 2) no sitting on floor 3) avoid Indian toilets 4) do not seat with your legs in hanging           position 5) avoid standing for longer duration            These are few very important precautions to be taken care of

Consult Ortho surgeon and get xrays of knee done to know stage of Osteoarthritis. Stage 1,2 and early 3 can be treated conservatively. Later stage requires surgery.
