Hi... Happiness is an outcome and cannot be chased. Pleasure can be chased but there is no guarantee than it will result in a sustained sense happiness. In neurochemical terms, happiness is serotonin and pleasure is dopamine. You are trying to attain happiness by involving in activities like travelling, painting, or having people around, but this all done with an intention to actively seek happiness, which is ruining it. Have you ever noticed being happy for no reason at all. Just sitting at your home, having a cup of tea/coffee, watching a movie, or while gazing the sky on the roof. Try doing that intentionally to produce same kind of happiness. It will never happen. Because it is an outcome and cannot be chased. It comes from within. Try living a life that is built around values that are close to you heart and try being content with what you already have. And you will see that the happiness you were seeking lies within you and does not require any seeking at all.
