Hi... It is perfectly okay to feel happy, sad, jealous, or generous at times. These are all natural human emotions which have a place of their own in different phases of our lives. Your breakup and your issues with your parents not giving you enough attention is one of the reasons for your unhappiness. But I believe the more prominent issue is that you don't have anything or anyone to lookup to. You are not able to drive your identity out of anything and that has also become an issue in itself. A challenging career or a good relationship not only provides us an occupation but it also gives us a sense of identity and value that we all human beings crave for. Creating a healthy relationship might take some time but you may start finding something you are passionate about and try to create a profession out of it. Joining a course or a degree or finding a job may be a good start. Do not try to look too far ahead. Just take one step at a time and you will find yourself in a better place than yesterday.
