The discontinuity at the apex of the palatal root (going by your given description of the cbct) doesnt seem to be the cause of your problem... Rather irritation can be due to some latent infection or a possible injury during extraction... Also do you have any habits like smoking or tobacco chewing???
Next Steps
get cbct evaluated by an expert

Based on the cbct report, irritation in palatal side has to be treated by alveoloplasty or alveolectomy.
