Insufficient vitamin d

I just got a blood test done for vitamin d since I was having problem with my knee after a 5 days strenuous trekking . the report reads the unit as 58 which comes in insufficient vitamin d category what should I do to correct it. M a mountaineer and needs to do lots of hiking in coming months

In my opinion u need to take vitamin d supplementation for around 2 months... as tab. Uprise d3 60k once a week to reach a level of around 75 units which comes under sufficient range of vitamin d...u need to also. CHeck for calcium through blood test that can also be on a lower side

You should take vit D sachet of 60,000 IU twice a week or some injections are also available for fast effect.. Early morning sunlight is also very helpful.. Do all types of weight bearing activities daily according to your stamina .

Take vitamin d sachet once a week for 2 months. get vit d checked again n revert back
