Your weight gain may be linked to thyroid issues or sleep disturbances, as poor sleep can disrupt metabolism, increase cravings, and lead to weight gain. Since your TSH is normal, the weight increase may not be directly related to thyroid function but could be influenced by sleep deprivation, stress, and changes in your routine. Sleep disturbances can lead to body pain, irritability, and fatigue, and over time, can increase the risk of other health complications like metabolic disorders and heart problems. To improve sleep, create a calming bedtime routine and avoid heavy meals, caffeine, and screens an hour before bedtime. Drinking herbal teas like chamomile or warm milk with turmeric can help. To manage weight and thyroid health, focus on a balanced diet with anti-inflammatory foods that support thyroid function and overall well-being. Include high-fiber foods like whole grains, fruits, and vegetables to help with digestion and weight loss. Healthy fats from sources like avocado, nuts, and olive oil support hormone production and thyroid function. Incorporate lean proteins such as chicken, fish, tofu, or legumes to support muscle growth and weight management. Avoid processed foods, sugary snacks, and refined carbs, which can disrupt blood sugar levels and contribute to weight gain. Include selenium (found in nuts and seeds), zinc (found in legumes and seeds), and iodine (found in seaweed), as these nutrients are vital for thyroid health. For knee pain, add anti-inflammatory foods like ginger, turmeric, and omega-3-rich foods like fish or flaxseeds. Practice stress management techniques like meditation or deep breathing to improve sleep and reduce irritation. Regular physical activity like walking or light strength training can help with weight loss and support better sleep. Avoid intense exercise before bedtime as it may interfere with sleep.

If your sleep get disturbed then it will definitely cause weight gain due to gas formation, indigestion etc. First avoid all goitrogenous food from your diet.like- soyabean and soy products, turnip, kale, ladies finger, cabbage, cauliflower etc.
