Infection from root or by side

I am attaching xray.i started 3 days antibiotic course.but i am confused this infection from the root or side. Please advise.

Hello There is a leakage from the cap and that is the reason for infection Please visit the dentist for the treatment

Hello , The infection is from the root area , advised to remove the cap and try for Re - RCT and should check for prognosis , if the prognosis is poor , then extraction of the tooth should be done and replaced by implant .
Next Steps
Should visit the nearest dental clinic and check for tooth evaluation .

Hello. 1)Yes it's from root. 2)The surrounding tooth structure is also compromised Once cap can be removed and can be checked 3)You can try Re-rct if tooth is sound other wise extraction follwed by implants would be treatment option.
