If you have taken all 5 rabies vaccine doses properly, you are safe, even if the cat died. Rabies vaccine is highly effective when the full course is completed. For extra reassurance, you can do a Rabies Antibody Titer test 2–4 weeks after the last dose. A level ≥ 0.5 IU/mL means you are protected. No need to worry if the full schedule was completed correctly.

You can go for rabies antibody titer test. It will tell you if your vaccination has produced recommended level of immunity in you.
