Increased serum sodium

Sharing my rft report my sodium is increased though I have good water intake and even chloride is borderline...really worried having flank pain also since some days ...is it anything to worry

According to your report you are suffering from hypernatremia . Reason - Hypernatraemia most often occurs in people who don't drink enough water. Cause- sweating, fever, Tachycardia, Central or Nephrogenic insipidus , Diarrhoea , vomiting, Fistula, Any burn, Loop diuretic , Osmotic diuretic and Any infusion of saline fluid. This is usually because of impaired thirst or mental judgement. Examples include someone with dementia or an infant who has limited access to fluids.
