I did everything possible to cure my ibs like naturopathy (fasting and enema detox) at Nisargopchar ashram - Pune, ayurveda(15days light diet and detox), homeopathy but my ibs and acid reflux didn't go. Started taking psychiatrist medicine - amide 25mg and mitazapine 15mg my all symptoms went away except my diarrhea shifted to constipation and now i need to do little exercise and small dose of laxative for it. I tried stopping this medicine for 2 days and all my symptoms came back. Does this mean all my problems of ibs were psychological?

All disease have psychological and somatic aspects...so we classify them as either psychosomatic or somatopsychic... Calling it only psychological is absolutely wrong but we can say that it's origin might be due to stress, depression,anxiety or something related to psychological but definitely due to that it starting showing effect on physical body also...vice versa is also possible...
