Pain traveling all the way to the leg is a definite possibility due to low back ache. It does seem like sciatica but always best to get yourself assessed by an orthopedic and Physiotherapist. Please work with your Physiotherapist to identify the root cause of your problem and ensure you get rid of the issue once and for all. It will need sustained efforts from you to continue exercising and strengthening your muscles even after your pain has come down. Follow the advice given by your Physiotherapist and orthopedic while lifting weights. Do rehabilitate yourself taking time. Don't be rushed.
