Cold compress helps. Hot water doesn't. Cannot walk properly. Diagnosed 2 months back. Anti inflammatory medicine gives little relief.

In addition to your regular measures wear a soft cushioned heel shoes and meet an orthopaedician. He will guide regarding further management whether you need injections or an operation

If anti inflammatory medication is not giving relief do Physiotherapy along with it If the pain still does not subside consider getting a local injection which will help with the pain You can continue ice packs

A heel spur is usually an incidental finding. If conservative management with physiotherapy and medications have failed. You can get an injection at the site to reduce pain.
