Your symptoms likely point to gastritis or a mild stomach infection from food irritation or acidity. Drink plenty of fluids, take ORS, avoid oily and spicy food, and take pantoprazole before breakfast along with ondansetron if needed for nausea. If loose motions continue, use ORS and a probiotic. Consult a doctor if the pain worsens, vomiting doesn’t stop, there’s blood in stool, or signs of dehydration appear.
Health Tips
avoid oily and spicy food add more salad to your diet drink plenty of water

Your symptoms of upper abdominal pain with nausea and loose motions since last night are most suggestive of acute gastritis or a mild gastroenteritis, commonly due to irritation from food, infection, or acidity. For now, take plenty of oral fluids (ORS/soups), avoid oily or spicy foods, and take a proton-pump inhibitor such as pantoprazole 40 mg once daily before breakfast along with an antiemetic like ondansetron 4 mg as needed. If loose motions continue, you may take ORS and a probiotic. Please seek immediate medical evaluation if pain becomes severe, vomiting persists, stools have blood, or dehydration develops, especially at your age.”

This is most likely acute gastritis or a stomach infection. What to do now: ORS: Sip ORS frequently to avoid dehydration. Medicine options: • Pantoprazole 40 mg once daily before food • Domperidone 10 mg or Ondansetron 4 mg for nausea • Racecadotril 100 mg (or Eldoper only if motions are too frequent) Diet: Light food only - curd, rice, khichdi, coconut water. Avoid oily/spicy food. Go to hospital urgently if: Vomiting not stopping Blood in stool

Detailed history is important. You can take ORS and light food. You can take tablet Drotin for pain relief. Do not take paracetamol or similar kind of drugs, it may Elevate the pain.

Because you have: Upper stomach pain Nausea (feeling like vomiting) Loose motions (diarrhoea) The most common cause is: Acute gastroenteritis A stomach infection due to contaminated food, water, or sudden irritation of the stomach. Other possible but less common causes: Gastritis or acidity flare Food poisoning Viral stomach flu Gallbladder irritation (if pain is in right side upper abdomen) But the combination of pain + nausea + loose stools strongly points to a stomach infection.
Next Steps
What you should do NOW (Home treatment) 1. ORS is very important Take ORS (Electral / Pedialyte / Enerzal lite) frequently. Sip slowly every 5–10 minutes. This prevents dehydration and reduces weakness. 2. Medicine for loose motions Choose ONE of these: • ORS + ORS only for first 6–8 hours OR • Econorm sachet – 1 sachet twice daily OR • Racecadotril 100 mg – 1 tablet three times daily for 2–3 days Do not take Loperamide by yourself unless the motions are very frequent. M 3. For stomach infection pain You can safely take: • Dicyclomine + Paracetamol (Cyclopam) – 1 tablet for stomach cramps • Pantoprazole 40 mg once daily before breakfast (helps upper stomach pain and acidity) 4. For nausea • Ondansetron 4 mg whenever needed (melts on tongue) 5. Diet for the next 24 hours Eat only light foods: • Khichdi • Curd • Coconut water • Bananas • Toast • Soups • Lots of fluids Avoid: • Oily food • Milk • Tea/coffee • Spicy food • Raw salads for 24 hours
Health Tips
Go to a doctor or ER if you notice: • Vomiting everything out • High fever • Severe dehydration (dry mouth, dizziness) • Very severe upper abdominal pain • Blood in stools • Pain on the right side under ribs (possible gallbladder issue) • You feel faint or extremely weak

You probably have a gastroenteritis. Please make sure that if you have repeated episodes of vomitting and loose motions despite having medicines, you have to get admitted in a nearby hospital. You can have a probiotic like Enterogermina, An antacid like Rablet D which will take care of the vomitting, and if the symptoms does not subside significantly you can start an antibiotic Tab O2 1 tab twice daily after food. But please take plenty of fluids after every loose motion episodes.
Next Steps
Do not panic, such episodes subside if you take proper care of yourself
Health Tips
Avoid eating outside for the next few days. Specially avoid roadside foods which are basically uncovered. Maintain personal hygiene like washing hands before taking food and also after going to bathroom.
