I started swimming around 3 pm, but getting tanned. Could you please suggest how can I Detan. Can I swim before 9 am and after 6 pm, will it avoid tanning.

You need to use water-resistant sunscreens while swimming. Still chlorine in swimming pool water can cause skin discolouration and this can be removed later on with pigment altering treatments.

You may take oral Vit C supplements for detan and apply physical sunscreen 30 minutes before your swimming session to prevent further tanning.
