Hi, I have tested  HLA B27 positive 5 years ,for sometimes I am getting lower back pain, stiffness and shoulders pain.can people with hla b27 sleep in AC . Plz suggest me

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you  in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any. -Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plgus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. -(You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for the affected part-ie. In ankylosing spondylitis gradually fusion of bony joints occur ,so kindly do regular stretching exercises to keep joints mobile .don't let weight gain. You can sleep in AC .

Yes ofcourse you can sleep.in AC Your low back ache and stiffness could be because of disease process although at your age it cannot be so advanced

It's something you have to slowly adjust with. There are multiple online forums with people from AS connecting from all over the world. I know of my dear patinet's who can do many more things than I can manage to do

keep yourself fit active and mobile. Get good sun exposure and don't get onto painkillers unless you have intolerable pain

You can sleep in AC ... But always make it a habit to exercises before you sleep and after you get up. Most common problem complicating life of HLAB27 patients is stiffness. If you can keep your body mobile and exercises the small.joints You will be happy.
