From last 6 months i m having anxiety, panic attacks...not able to sleep at night. When I got by B.p. checked it is around 160/110 always. Why is it so... it's not my age to get B.p. I have reduced oil and salt intake then also b.p. is not reducing...what should I do...i don't want to be dependent on tablets...is there any other option.I have consulted one doctor.He has written some medication. Can u plz tell me what are they.I am attaching my form.

Thank you for sharing. 160/110 for 6 months is genuine hypertension, not only anxiety, and at this level medicines are needed to protect heart, kidney and eyes. Panic and poor sleep can also settle once BP is controlled. High BP does happen at 32, so age is no reason to avoid treatment.

Please start the tablets your doctor prescribed and get ECG, kidney function, electrolytes, thyroid and urine test done. Note home BP twice daily for two weeks and review with a physician.
