Hepatitis B : - viral infection and chronic. Treatment is also based on antibody titers and need life long management. It also poses risk of hepatic cellular carcinoma (HCC-  cancer) Amoebic hepatitis :- parasite ( kindly of worm) infection. Acute condition. Can be treated and cured if diagnosed early. Hepatitis B is a viral infection (HBV) spread through blood or sexual contact and can become chronic. Amoebic hepatitis is caused by a parasite (Entamoeba histolytica) from contaminated food/water and usually causes a liver abscess. Amoebic hepatitis is diagnosed by ultrasound showing liver abscess plus blood test for amoeba antibodies (ELISA). Stool exam may also help.

Both are different, HBV is viral and amoebic hepatitis is protozoan infection caused by entamoeba histolytica. Diagnosed mainly by serology and depends on pts to pts.

Amoebic hepatitis is not a commonly used diagnosis. Entamoeba histolytica typically causes an amoebic liver abscess, where the liver is secondarily involved due to amoebic infection from the intestine. Patients usually present with fever, right upper abdominal pain, and tender enlarged liver, rather than isolated hepatitis. Diagnosis of amoebic liver abscess includes: • CBC, liver function tests • Ultrasound or CT abdomen showing liver abscess • Entamoeba serology (highly sensitive in endemic areas) • Stool examination may be normal and does not exclude the diagnosis.

Totally different  hep b is a viral infection  whereas amoebic hepatitis is a protozoan infection which can cause you bloody stools
