Disc bulge itself will not cause any problems but if the disc bulge is pressing on any nerve root only then it will cause problems so please attach MRI report so that v can suggest you correct treatment

In my opinion you need to go for physiotherapy sessions followed by few blood tests like calciumvitamin d and vitamin b 12...if you are having deranged values you need to take supplement medications... In physiotherapy you need to go for IFT / hot pack / US / Laser..followed by exs after ur pain subsides...take care get well soon
Next Steps
Visit a good physiotherapist... You can start with Tab. Hifenac d twice a day Tab. Nucoxia mr once a day at noon Tab pan 40 empty stomach
Health Tips
Do not leave physio treatment in b/ w Do not check your pain Avoid forward bending Avoid prolonged sitting and standing

Just a symptom of leg pain may be due to many reasons...and only a report of l45 disc bulge doeant suffice to conclude whether its the cause of ur pain... havr u ruled out all other causes of leg pain.. have u got checked to see if u have any nerve related symptoms and signs.. have u tried simple pain management.  Ur vitamin d levels... ur sacroilliac joints... have u chekced above... if not....... Meet ur spine specialist... Meanwhile... ice packs / hot fomentation.. and tab panadol ..i u not allergic to it might help
