Hello, i m 39 weeks pregnant. Doc said still baby head not dropped in pelvic region. ( first pregnancy, cephalic presentation, pelvis adequate). Wat could be the reason for head not coming to pelvis region? Is normal delivery possible?

When the labour pain starts with head can get fixed and start to deliver so there's nothing to be worried about normal delivery when you have a previous normal delivery

Your age is 39. So although pelvis adequate may be not flexible enough ,,, many times engagement of head happens when labour pain start .

Head not being engaged into the pelvis before the onset of labor is not uncommon.reasons might be - Cephalopelvic disproportion Big size baby Pelvis architecture High position of head So should wait for onset of labor and with good contractions engagement might occur along with progress of labor

Asynclitism or extended neck is a possibility of presenting part not entering pelvis in an adequate pelvis.
