Mucosal lining of stomach will be damaged from H.pylori infection as well as from excess acid secretion within stomach. Though you have started medicine for H.pylori, it takes time for its complete eradication. And mucosal damage takes time to heal. Continue to take antacids and complete the course of H.pylori infection. It would have been nice if you have added medications that you are taking.

H. pylori treatment typically takes 10-14 days, and stomach pain during the treatment course is common as the infection is being eradicated. It usually takes a few weeks after completing the full course for the stomach lining to heal and symptoms to fully settle. Continue the medications as prescribed and avoid spicy, oily food.

Symptoms often take several days to a few weeks to improve, even after starting antibiotics and acid-reducing medicines. However, persistent pain after eating and on an empty stomach may mean that the stomach lining or an ulcer is still healing, or that the treatment needs review. Make sure you are taking all medicines exactly as prescribed and avoid smoking, alcohol, spicy foods, and painkillers such as ibuprofen or diclofenac unless advised by your doctor. If the pain is severe, worsening, associated with vomiting, black stools, weight loss, fever, or difficulty swallowing, contact your doctor promptly.
