Passing a small amount of blood in stool for 1–2 days without pain, dizziness or weakness is most commonly due to a small anal fissure or piles (hemorrhoids). These can occur after hard stool, straining, or constipation. Since there is no pain and no other symptoms, it is usually not serious and settles with simple treatment.
Next Steps
For now, you can take:
1. Syrup Lactulose 15–20 ml at night for 3–5 days – this softens stool.
2. Apply Anovate or Smuth cream locally twice daily – helps heal minor fissures/piles.
3. Sitz bath – sit in warm water for 10–15 minutes once or twice daily.
Health Tips
Drink plenty of water, eat more fruits and fibre (banana, papaya, oats), and avoid straining during stool. If bleeding continues for more than 4–5 days, becomes heavy, or you develop pain or weakness, please get examined once to rule out other causes.
