Surgical removal of the gum tissue which is hurting or I'm pinching and creating d foci for infection is must.  Evaluate the wisdom tooth,  whether it is aligned properly,  if yes operculectomy and curretarge will solve ur problem  . But it is out of alignment,  then advice u to remove ur wisdom tooth.  Laser  treatment not indicated  as chances of recurrence are more.

If tooth is erupting in correct alignment u can make a path for that by removing the gum covering it so that it will erupt easily. This procedure is called operculectomy It can be done by laser or manual. Infection is because of accumulation of food n debris

Laser gum surgery can be done around any tooth, but the one you are talking about I presume is to remove the gum covering the wisdom tooth. 3. Infection occurs due to food lodgement around the tooth, or due to a pocket formed by an unerupted or partially erupted tooth, or by caries(decay) in the wisdom tooth itself. 4. Teeth eruption is not dependent on the gums as much as it is dependent on the space and bone available.
