I had gap in my front teeth from birth, I put braces when I was 15 and it was closed again now it is coming back, and the gap is too large that I am not sure my teeth s decaying or the gum colour change s there between the teeth, it is not on the teeth, it's on the gum. I want to know it is decay or the gap is causing Discoloration for the gum

It could be a due to combination of calculus deposition and or high frenum attachment...

In case of plaque and tartar accumulation there is recession of gums and discolouration. Another reasons could be cavity or relapse. Visit a dentist nearby.

The re-occurrence of the gap between the teeth is called Relapse which might require a Retreatment. Kindly consult Orthodontist/ Dentist for a complete clinical examination.
