Since you are currently asymptomatic, surgery is generally not routinely required for an incidentally detected/silent gallstone. I would recommend discussing the findings with a general surgeon, who can consider your age, medical history and any risk factors before deciding on further management. Surgery is more commonly considered if symptoms such as recurrent right-upper abdominal pain, particularly after meals, or complications such as cholecystitis, jaundice or pancreatitis develop.
