Hi, pls check my USG reports and suggest--1) if surgery is required to Remove gall bladder. 2) what are the symptoms i should look for surgery as i understand surgery wud b required only if symptomatic gall stones.

Your Stone has increased from 9.7 mm to 11.8 mm in just under 1 year. If asymptomatic you may try something like USDA to dissolve them (no evidence it works and not prescribed in UK  and Europe). However if you getting recurring pain then get it removed surgically. Bw

What was the reason to go for ultrasound.. if it was pain/ bloating/ dyspepsia.. then you require surgery

Hi if there is no upper abdominal pain / post meal fullness / discomfort / upper back pain , then you don't require surgery. This is asymptomatic gall stone. In case you develop any of above symptoms then you require surgery. Any stone more than 1 CMS in size needs removal of gall bladder. There is no any medicines in present world to dissolve gall bladder stone. Laparoscopic approach is gold standard for gall bladder removal.
