Greetings for the Day!!!       Fruits consumption for diabetes patients can be beneficial when the quantity and form in which the fruit is taken is considered. Ideally 50 to 100gm of fruits per day is considered safe for a Diabetic person Instead of fruit juices, whole fruits with skin is more helpful to maintain the blood sugar levels. Fruits can be avoided immediately after taking a heavy meal. Instead it can be given as a snack. A customized diet plan will help to achieve glycemic control (balanced sugar levels).

Hi The fruits for diabetic patient are limited . Fruits like papaya, apple, pear and pineapple can be taken but in a limited quantity .

Hello, When blood sugar is maintained well below 170 mg /dl or below that also then person having Diabetes   can have  tow serving per day. This  will add good amount of fiber in the diet. And will help to manage blood sugar.  As well as various other nutrients in the diet. But remember always when blood sugar goes above 200 mg/ dl then  please stop all fresh fruit till the time it's again come down and we'll maintained.
