I'm suffering from IBS. Doctor suggested me to start with FODMAP diet. As a South Indian, how to plan my diet. What to eat and what not to. Please suggest

FODMAP stands for fermentable oligo-, di-, mono-saccharides and polyols.Its a restrictive diet as it restricts Grains like wheat,Pulses,Milk,fruits, Honey etc. Easy way out is to eat all doods in moderation and observe. If a food causes incresed symptoms then avoid it for a while and re-introduce it in small portion . IBS patients have varied sensitivity to different foods depending from person to person.
