First Irregular Period
I am a mother of 5 year old child,this is the first time my periods are extended by a week, pregnancy test is negative.I started taking M2 tone tablets and have spotting but not got my periods yet.Kindly advise should I continue taking M2 tone tablets and till what time can I wait for my periods to come naturally as I don't have any past history of irregularities.

You first need investigations to find out the reason for the delay at the spotting
A cycle length more than 37 days is not normal needs to be investigated and treatment can be offered accordingly
