Fever test reports

Hello Dr, My son got fever, cold, cough on Dec 20th and after medication, he was normal with 5..6days Again he got temperature on Dec 31 From 31st to till day, night time he is getting temperature of 100.. Today we did blood tests (fever profile).. Attached reports Crp : 11.3 Typhi o : 1:80 Does it mean typhoid Does crp 11.3 is very high? Can you please suggest Using p 250 for fever, relent + for cold Pls suggest can azee used for typhoid

It is bacterial infection..Typhoid ...pls hospitalise if child is having high grade fever

its not typhoid dont worry crp 11 is not that high to panick... looks like viral fever..cant exactly comment which fever with out examining patient

So 5 doctors have already responded with some difference in opinion. I want to add that the best person to solve these questions is the primary doctor who has ordered these investigations. If I were you, I would have bombarded these questions on the doctor who has ordered these investigations. In case you yourself got the fever profile done, it must be clear to you by now that investigations cannot be interpreted without a clinical question. You see ,a small set of 5 doctors have some difference in opinion. I am sure if each of these 5 have a complete picture and on top of that they were the one who ordered these investigations, they would have given you straight forward answers without any ambiguity. Doctors by and large have similar trainings and will guide you correctly. The problem is jargled information presented to one doctor. I hope my post will be of some help to you. It’s not typhoid…crp is also fine…continue P250 and relent plus. Azee is not required. It appears to be a viral infection.
