You should do ankle and foot stretching and strengthening exercises with proper guidance. This will help you to avoid midfoot pain. Use foot wear with arch support.
Next Steps
You need to consult a Physiotherapist for further evaluation and exercise therapy.

If you have tingling or numbness of toes, sometimes it is after wearing narrow shoes...rather than wide shoes. Flat feet can be due to muscular weakness, arch maintaining muscle....or gluteal weakness. Both of these could be helped with exercises. There are other reasons too which are hard to explain here....
Next Steps
so start with looking at your shoes, are they canvas, which are preety flat or tight in the midfoot, you might need arch support shoes....or you might have tied the laces too tight.... there are local foot exercises that could help...
Health Tips
make an appointment and consult a physiotherapist. you could make an online appointment...
