Hi... This appears to be a case of health anxiety or hypochondria. But still if you are afraid of any particular disease (rabies, heart, cancer, etc.) it is always better to get yourself tested first, vaccination or treatment comes later.
Since the pandemic there is a rise in the number of cases of health anxiety, as people are witnessing suffering (health/economic/social/emotional). There is a sharp rise in the number of deaths (disease/accident/suicide). Economic downturn and following loss of employment or income have further made the condition worse. All this has torn the fabric of social, personal, family, marital relationships, which has further added to the pain and suffering. All these conditions have created an atmosphere where it is very normal to feel afraid for one's own health or health of your loved ones.
The simplest solution to health anxiety is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). In some cases antianxiety medications or antidepressant, prescribed by a Psychiatrist, may also be used to contain a severe condition.
