Facing severe anxiety and suicidal

2025-07-23 08:11:26
Hii doctors. I am facing severe anxiety attacks, crying spells, and just want to end my life anyhow. I don't even have the energy to do basic tasks, frequent dizziness, no appetite, a constant tingling in the left hand with pain in my chest which is sometimes intense sometimes low, either I'm sleeping too much or no sleep. Always irritated, don't want any human being around me, forgetting basic things. I joined a job recently but I don't have the will to continue it anymore. Either I want myself dead or run away to a place where nobody knows me, with no contact to my previous life. People ask me are you depressed and I don't even know that, I have lost nearly 10 kgs just in a month. Should I just end this life or do I have still any cure left? Am I depressed as they are saying or it's just phase which I there for like 4-5 years that has intensified now. No one exactly knows what I'm going through whenever I try telling them they brush it of by saying I'm just overthinking. I need help.

Hi, I’m really sorry you’re feeling this way … you are not alone, and what you’re going through is not your fault. These intense feelings can be part of something treatable like clinical depression with anxiety, and it does get better with the right help. Right now, your safety is the most important thing. Please don’t try to handle this alone. I strongly urge you to speak to a psychiatrist or psychologist immediately, and let someone close to you know how you’re feeling. Therapy, along with the right medical support, can bring significant relief.
Next Steps
- Seek an emergency consultation with a mental health professional today. - Inform a trusted family member or friend about how you’re feeling. - You may benefit from structured therapy, emotional support, and possible medication based on assessment.
Health Tips
You are not weak for needing support. Reaching out is a sign of strength, and this pain can reduce with the right help.. please don’t delay.

First, I want you to know that what you're feeling is valid. You're not weak, you're not overreacting—and you're definitely not alone. When you say you're overwhelmed, disconnected, unable to function, and even thinking of ending your life, that’s not just “a phase” or “overthinking.” These are real signs of major depression, possibly complicated by anxiety, panic disorder, and physical stress responses like chest pain and tingling. You’ve been carrying the weight of unresolved emotional exhaustion for years, and now your mind and body are showing the strain. The fact that you’re reaching out—even in distress—is a huge and brave step forward. Let’s not brush this off. Let’s treat it like the serious medical condition it is, with compassion and clarity.
Next Steps
You need to speak with a qualified psychiatrist—ideally in person or through video if you’re not ready for face-to-face yet. This isn’t something that will pass on its own. Start with a clinical assessment, which may include a diagnostic interview and, if needed, some supportive blood work (e.g., thyroid, B12, Vitamin D) to rule out any underlying contributions. Based on that, a carefully chosen medication—like an antidepressant with minimal sedation or gut effects—can stabilize your system. Combine this with talk therapy, ideally CBT or psychodynamic therapy, to help process years of unresolved pain. If you are feeling unsafe or deeply suicidal, do not delay: visit the nearest hospital or mental health center for immediate support. You’re not beyond help. Treatment works, but it must start now.
Health Tips
Right now, don’t try to solve everything. Your job isn’t to feel “happy” yet—just to stay here. Hydrate. Keep a simple eating rhythm—3 small meals, even if tasteless. Avoid long screen time, skip caffeine after 2 PM, and try to step outside for 10 minutes a day. Music that soothes you, writing freely in a notebook, or simply breathing slowly with your hand on your chest can give your nervous system something to hold on to. Include magnesium-rich foods (nuts, leafy greens), B-complex vitamins, and a warm, consistent sleep-wake cycle. And remember—what you feel right now is temporary. This is your pain talking, not your truth. You’re not meant to suffer in silence. You're meant to heal. You took the first step by opening up—now take the next by getting support. You are not alone.
