Extreme mood swings
I might be suffering from bipolar disorder though I've never taken any test. However I feel bouts of extreme anger and irritation and during such instances i turn verbally abuse my closed ones including my husband and mother. Apart from this is feel stressed and tired , sleepiness inspite of getting sufficient sleep and sometimes extreme hunger.
There is no laboratory test available to confirm the diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder. The diagnosis is based on review of the symptoms reported and the mental status examination (a systematic interview for a layperson) conducted by a Psychiatrist.
You should just maintain the faith in your Psychiatrist and refrain from getting casual consultations, as it can be detrimental at times.
