Hi dear, yes its common to have body pain after initial workout. Its advisable to continue stretching to reduce the pain. It may seem dumb, but it is how your body adapts to the exertion. Advice him to take minimal stretching or walking. Also, hot water bathing. You may have severe pain or even trembling of legs while walking if you undergo extensive workouts in the 1st few days. You need to be slow & gradual with the initial phases. It will subside in one or two days with minimal stretching.
