Hi!
Yes it is true that cholesterol synthesis in the body is partly regulated by your dietary intake of cholesterol but that does not mean you can have an unlimited consumption of eggs everyday. One egg contains approximately 185 mg of cholesterol and the USDA recommendation is 300 mg of cholesterol per day. So if you consume 6 whole eggs you will going way above the daily requirement. Besides, other food sources also do contribute cholesterol. Cholesterol is only one aspect dear. The amount of dietary proteins consumed also need to he considered. It can have its own counter effects when consumed in excess. For a healthy individual 1 to 2 eggs per day is good enough.
