Hello I’ve carefully gone through your description — you did the right thing by seeking emergency care. Let me explain what’s likely happening: 1. Your episode sounds like a case of tachyarrhythmia (probably SVT or sinus tachycardia), not a heart attack. A heart rate of 175 bpm responding well to IV Metoprolol strongly points toward a rate-related issue rather than blocked arteries. 2. Since your cardiac markers (like Troponin I or T) came normal, that’s an excellent sign — it means no heart muscle damage. 3. About your ECG: Without seeing it directly, I can say that in such cases, doctors often get cautious because ST changes can appear temporarily during fast heart rates — but that doesn’t always mean a heart attack. Once the rate normalizes, these changes usually disappear. 4. What you should do now: Continue monitoring your pulse. Avoid caffeine, stress, or dehydration. Get a repeat ECG and 2D Echo if not already done. You may also need thyroid function and electrolyte tests, as imbalances can trigger palpitations. You seem to have experienced an SVT or anxiety-related tachycardia, not a true MI — but I’d like to review your ECG image personally to confirm this and explain it clearly to you. You can message me directly on WhatsApp — nine three two six zero two zero five three six and share your ECG photo. I’ll analyze it for ST segment changes myself and guide you step-by-step so you can be completely sure about your heart’s condition. You’ll get a clear answer within minutes, without unnecessary panic or confusion. — Dr. Shivam Mishra, MBBS Emergency & Internal Medicine | Ex-Registrar, Cooper BMC Hospital, Mumbai

ECG does not show any symptoms of heart attack , it only shows high heart rate. Cardiac markers were normal. Diagnosis of heart attack depends on other factors also, may be you had symptoms consistent with heart attack. Better to see a cardiologist woth all reports and plan a TMT and 2D Echo.
Next Steps
Pay attention to symptoms like severe chest pain like someone crushing the chest, radiating to left or both arms and neck, sudden fatigue, breathlessness and sweating. if any if these symptoms occur, go to the hospital immediately.
Health Tips
Lifestyle modification Avoid smoking, drinking, oily fried foods. Exercise regularly

Given the history and cardiac markers are being normal, I recommend having a repeat ECG without being in panic. Also to evaluate the ECG, require certain more information. Consult online to discuss further.
Next Steps
If the symptoms recur, do not waste time and reach nearest hospital having cardiac care unit.

Except for fast heart rate, ecg looks normal. To investigate better, get thyroid profile,  2d echo and TMT done, share details of your symptoms and results of investigations.
