Hello, I am 35 years old. From last month the number of days of my periods is reducing. This month I had it for 3 days only. I would like to know that if I am approaching the early menopause. If yes , I would like to know how to delay it. Note: my period dates is fluctuating since the time I had my first period.

Bleeding during periods varies with age you do a seum FSH to know whether you are approaching early menopause or not. Some problems like hypothyroidism PCOS can cause scanty bleeding. You need to rule out all these conditions.

Get am ultrasound and a serum FSH done. That will gv a better idea. Menopause is usually after 45 years so this is unlikely.

The days and amount of bleeding may reduce with age. Certain tests and personal/family history is required to know if you are approching early menopause. Please consult your doctor for examination.

You may undergo a Gynaecological examination along with an ultrasound and a blood test. Consult a Gynaecologist.
