Dydrogestrone tablet during pregnancy

I am currently 11 week pregnant. I am taking only Tab Folivate and Thyronorm for thyroid. Now I have prescribed dydrogestrone for 10 days. Is it a essential medicine to take and do we get any side effect of hormonal medicine.
