Hi. I understand your situation. Since you are thinking of dental braces, you need to consult an Orthodontist. Look for an orthodontist in your city. Try to visit 2-3 Orthodontists. See where you feel you can communicate your problems well. I tell my patients to not delay starting the treatment. As orthodontic treatment is straightforward treatment and takes time. Regarding this notion that dental alignment can cause suffering statement - It is a myth. Hope this helped.

Hello Firstly get an OPG x-ray and Lateral cephalogram x-ray done . And share the pictures of that , Malaligned or irregular placement of  teeth definitely causes problems in future, better get orthodontics treatment done that is either Braces or Aligners.
Next Steps
maintain oral hygiene, get a regular cleaning procedure done every 5 months in your case , keep your gums healthy

Hi, Uneven teeth may cause problems while chewing which will eventually cause problems in the jaw joint for some people. I suggest you share your X-ray OPG and X-ray Lateral Cephalogram to get a better idea of your teeth alignment and can answer your query better.
