Hi, I brush thoroughly every morning yet my teeth are yellowing. I want to understand if there is a dental process to get my teeth whitened and the general practise to keep them white. Thanks.

You can go for full mouth scaling & cleaning procedure, which will remove the stains from your teeth, if your teeth color is yellow then you will have to undergo teeth bleaching procedure which whitens the teeth, in market also there are certain toothpaste available for teeth whitening by himalaya & colgate you can try them also.

Brushing twice daily, flossing at least once daily and dental scaling half yearly is the mantra for white teeth.

Hi... Tooth discoloration is quite common problem. First of all you need to know whether the stains are intrinsic or extrinsic. Treatment options differ depending on types of stains like if they are extrinsic simple scaling and polishing will be sufficient where as intrinsic stains need some complex treatment. Thank you.

Hi.. yellowing of teeth can happen due to a lo of reasons.. If the stains are from outside..a normal professional cleaning up an bleaching would suffice.. but in case the stains are from inside the teeth..a bleaching may be mandatory..besides that u might have to go for laminates..which are kind of a layer stuck o  to ur teeth!!

What you remove during brushing is the plaque which is a soft and sticky layer on the teeth..... once this plaque hardens, it becomes calculus which is seen as a yellowish layer on the teeth and this cannot be removed by brushing but requires professional intervention in the form of the procedure called scaling..... additionally, bleaching can be done to whiten your teeth further..... Regards.....
