Disc herniation and break in pars

1.grade 1 anterolisthesis of l5 over s1 with break in pars interarticularis of l5 vertebral body. My mri report ,does this require surgery

Hello , this appears to be a a case of spondylisthesis secondary to spondylolysis (pars defect) on x ray and MRI wee need to see your degree of slip and your neuro examination and depending upon that we need to decide surgery. Usually in cases secondary to pars defect back pain is more and this require fusion surgeries. But you need to be in guard in future even if you do the surgery.
