I m 31 weeks 5 days pregnant..in my growth scan it was mentioned as posterior placenta grade 3 maturity..is this normal?? Baby weight is 1.800 gms...and also taking labetelol tablet once a day. I have taken two shots of dexamethasone sodium injection..is there anything to concern??

Placental grade is not a very accurate sign to find out any problems in the baby. Since the baby weight was normal, the scan seems to be normal at present. The blood flow (Doppler) would have also been checked during the scan, which if good, then it's a normal scan. You will be closely monitored with routine scans (about 2-4 weekly) to check the growth and blood flow to the baby and your BP will also need to be monitored.
