Depression, Anxiety

For more than 6 years now, i have been going in and out of depression, and it has become huge block in my development and studies. I have so many behaviors i cant explain, i am unable to study (for last 6 yrs) because it is as if i am scared of anything productive. There is so much i want to do with my life but I am stuck. Used to be suicidal, but that is only when it gets really bad. Recently I have actively been trying to improve, which is why I am finally asking for help to a professional.

Hello, I can understand the problem you are facing from such a long time. Recurrent depression can be due to thyroid, vitamin abnormality, bipolar mood disorder etc.. Sometimes we miss out hypomania episode as depression covers it. A mood chart will benefit you in that. Adding a mood stabilizer like lithium will cover your bipolar illness and augment your antidepressant treatment as well.

It can be very disheartening when you expect so much out of life but end up not able to do because of self limiting factors.
Next Steps
I would strongly recommend you to see a mental health professional
