Today doctor has scheduled my delivery and 36 weeks and 2 days going on. My baby weight is somewhere around 2.8kg. My baby will be premature????

What is the reason for planning delivery today? Although baby weight is fine but if there is no indication then why delivery planned at this gestation?

The reason for decision of delivery at 36 weeks and 2 days? Generally after 36 weeks the lung maturity of the baby has been achieved Nevertheless if everything is normal no point inducing before
