Constipation after cerclage

2023-11-11 04:23:57
Hello I had cerclage on 6th and today on 11 and yesterday 10th I didn't pass any stool. I tried duphalac 20 ml yesterday night still no pressure. I think the stool at the end has hardened. I have tried drinking enough water but nothing is working. What do I do? I don't want to strain. I passed a little bit of stool today morning but I felt that my stomach was straining automatically a little bit. Really worried will it affect the cerclage and what to do to pass stool. Shall I try 40ml duphalac today?

It usually happened after cerclage as you are on bed rest and progesterone tablets are prescribed to you which causes decrease in gut motility No need to worry. you take lukewarm water and duphalac 2 TSP at night. Wait for 2-3 days.
