Cervical length is 3.6 cm after 9 week
My wife has undergone a miscarriage after 6 month of pregnancy due to placenta previa in 2022. Now she is 9 weeks pregnant and it's cervical length is 3.6cm which was 3.8cm after 6 weeks. suggest some preventive measures
Cervical length monitoring is required in cases where there is history of preterm births ( that is birth before 37 weeks of pregnancy)
The cervical length monitoring is done from 16 weeks onwards. It should be done using transvaginal ultrasound.
And the cut off value is 2.5cm
