wisdom teeth might be very difficult to restore at times, if restored also the restorations may not be successful also..many a times it is considered wise to remove the wisdom tooth if it acquires decay or pains. wisdom teeth are vestigeal organs like the appendix..removal by a sppecialist oral maxillofacial surgeon usually is safe.

Hi .. wisdom teeth problems are one of the commonest dental complaints . Don't fear removal if it can't be saved. U will be a lot comfortable without it than with it. What consequences are u afraid of?

Take paracetamol 500 mg every 4 hours if you have pain and not allergic to paracetamol and if you have no liver issues. Better to get it removed soon

Please trust your dentist's opinion because a person who has performed the clinical evaluation is the best judge to decide the treatment plan. And if we go by the description that you have given, a wisdom tooth with the cavity is best treated by extraction so that permanent relief of your symptoms can be achieved. If you post a clinical picture of the affected tooth we will be in a better position to provide a more rational opinion. Regards.
