Dead lift is a heavy workout and often proves to deteriorate Disc problems …. The spine would be comfortable if there’s an extension or spine strengthening exercise but in dead lift the spine initially goes to flexion and then the force of complete load falls on a flexed spine which can often worsen ur disc bulge problems … it’s better u avoid such heavy weights for a period of atleast 6 months till u follow good Physio and exercises …
Next Steps
Avoid weights for 6 months
Health Tips
Do not perform lifting weights when u have even slightest of back pain

Start slowly with spinal muscle strengthening and arching exercises. Core strengthening exercises. Gradually increase weight training in correct posture. Avoid Deadlift for sometime. Only after you are comfortable doing weights for the lower back like rows etc. start deadlifts
