Bubble in my wrist

I had a vein bubble randomly develop in my left wrist. I massaged it down but it is still painful and i have a bruise where the bubble was. What could be the cause of this? Is is an embolism? I an hypertensive and concerned about this bubble

It’s ganglion.. if u feel difficulty in daily activities and cosmetic problem, it could be surgically removed
