Nothing serious. Need not worry. You can undergo root canal treatment for this tooth followed by a crown. Kindly visit a dentist for the same.

From the given clinical photograph &history it seems that, the tooth is fractured due to accident and after that from the last 2 -3 months there is pain which last for 1 to 2 days . So , it needs in office  clinical examination by dentist / endodontist along with some small investigations  to check the exact reason &  diagnosis of the pain associated with the tooth. After that further treatment will be carried out.
Next Steps
visit dentist /endodontist for further clinical examination &treatment planning accordingly.
Health Tips
Don't worry about it. It can be treated. Thanks!

Only way it can be treated/saved, is. by Root Canal Treatment followed by Crown (Cap) on it. But, first the proper diagnosis will be required. X-Ray of your tooth is very important for proper diagnosis. Since it is a case of tooth fracture by trauma, sometimes there are chances of root resorption. In that case additional treatments (Apicectomy) will be advised by dentist. And in the worst case (horizontal fracture in root etc), dentist might suggest you to get your tooth removed and replace it with Implant or Bridge.
Next Steps
Visit a good dentist and soon. Further delay might cause more damage to your tooth.
Health Tips
Dentist will/might charge you more than regular treatment charges, but it is necessary to spend/invest a few bucks more.
